I thought I’d share some of my holiday outfits, even though I realise it’s the end of summer now, so may be a little redundant. But if anything it’s useful to keep a record of outfits I liked so that next year I have an idea of what I’d take on holiday. I always like dressing for holidays because I feel like I can experiment a bit and wear things I wouldn’t normally. Especially as at home I don’t often get the chance to wear ‘going out out’ outfits so having to find 10 of them for every evening on holiday was quite a challenge. I rose to the occasion though and around 102343 ASOS orders later I found some bits I really liked!
Lemon playsuit - Glamorous
This is something I would never usually wear (mostly because I’d be far too cold in the UK on a night out), but love how it’s quite flattering as it’s tied in at the waist. Got to love a lemon print.
BIKINI - Pretty little thing
I usually go for swimsuits instead of bikinis as I like to cover up my belly, but I love how this one is almost a swimsuit. The colours are spot on! This Primark bag used to have a flamingo on the side but I preferred it plain, so I cut him off (something that looked like it would be a lot easier to do than it actually was!).
I’ve had this top for such a long time, but have never worn it as it’s quite an odd cut. I found that tucking it in was much more my style, and I really like how the wrap dress creates this zig zag line through the outfit. I am in love with these sandals although Jack really hates them (ha).
I bought this jumpsuit to wear to a festival, but didn’t in the end due to the tricky undressing in a portaloo situation. It is a bit strange as it ties by the boobs, and if that comes loose then everything is revealed! But I love the cut and pattern so much so it’s perfect for wearing for a few hours on holiday. Also I loveee this bag, it’s a little strange and I love it for that, sort of a little blob with a huge ring on - I’m into it.
